As a career art director and publication designer in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have been making art since I was six years old. My art has been exhibited at the College of Marin Gallery, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, O’Hanlon Center for the Arts, the Belvedere/Tiburon Library Gallery, and Town Center Corte Madera. I attended Pratt University’s Graduate Communications Design program after receiving a bachelor’s degree in journalism with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have received design awards from the American Graphic Design Association, the Western Publishing Association, and the Tube Council of North America.

My fine art and design styles are whimsical, vibrant, and disarmingly uncomplicated with an infusion of storytelling. Patterns, board games, and paths play an outsized role in my work. I have studied painting, book arts, printmaking, collage, assemblage art, and am a self-taught embroiderer. Continued arts education includes programs at UC Berkeley, Kala Art Institute, SF Center for the Book, College of Marin, Pacific Northwest Art School, and Snow Farm.

Presently, I am on the Steering Committee and the Special Events Committee at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in Novato. I was a City Commissioner for the Architectural Heritage and Landmarks Commission in Vallejo, PTA Co-President at Mary Silveira School in Marin County, and President and Board Director of a Solano County preschool. Pro-bono design work has included the Mill Valley Historical Society, Zero Breast Cancer, Marin Ballet, and the Marin School of the Arts. I worked in Media Relations for USTA and Masters tennis tournaments and have been a Bicycle Tour Guide in the U.S. and Europe. Last, but not least, I have taught Book Arts and led Handwriting the Constitution programs in Marin and Sonoma Counties.
